We were successful in gaining planning permission and were able to incorporate the difficult brief into limited space by working closely with our client to explore and explain the full range of options.

We developed a beautiful bespoke solution using local timber workshops, carefully sourced materials and innovative design details to save £6000 on the quote by a high street kitchen designer.
Client: Private Domestic Client | Budget: circa £80k | Stages: 0 - 3 | Challenges: Conservation area, limited space and neighbouring Rights-to-light concerns. | Status: In progress. We clarified their position with a detailed feasibility study and rights to light calculations and investigated the opportunities to create much needed extra bedroom through clever design, modelled in 3D so that our clients could get a sense of the space.
Client: Private Development Company | Budget: circa £2.5million | Stages: 0 - 2 | Challenges: Constrained Site; restrictive covenants; planning risks | Status: A positive pre-application response was recieved for a viable scheme. Further finance is being sought under a D&B approach.
Clients: London Borough of Havering/ Made Public | Budget: Circa 100K | Stages: 1 - 2 | Challenges: Tight programme and a dingy nightclub to re-invent on a relatively small budget for the size | Status: With our design and spatial input, Made Public were able to devlop proposals and are successfully running the Retailery as on of Romford's most vibrant local venues for start-up businesses and the community.
Clients: London Borough of Redbridge/ GLA/ Made Public | Budget: Circa 200K | Stages: 1 - 2 | Challenges: A dilapidated old warehouse in need need of significant repairs was to be transformed on a relatively small budget into a demanding range of uses. We came up with solutions that would ensure maximum impact for a minimal budget. | Status: Under Construction.
Clients: Mayor of London/ RIBA/ RTPI | Budget: n/a | Stages: 1 - 2 | Challenges: Ideas competition to get London thinking about it's forgotten spaces; this site is a dis-used section of the River Graveney | Status: We were pleased to be short-listed out of hundred of entries and we hope to get some of the ideas explored made into reality. Clients: Hatcham Community Builers CIC & Our New Cross Neighbourhood Forum | Budget: Crowd Funded | Stages: 0 - 2 | Challenges: Building consensus and developing viable strategies | Status: We were able to put forward a strong vision for New Cross and the ideas have had a lasting legacy with local planning groups and policies.
Clients: Tanzania Education Project (registered Charity) | Budget: £25k | Stages: 0 - 7 | Challenges: Building rapidly within a short time frame and budget to produce something that the local community could be a part of from start to finish | Status: Complete and loved by the local community for 10 years and still going strong.
Client: London Borough of Havering/ Made Public | Budget: circa £5k | Stages: 1 - 4 | Challenges: Limited time; small budget and big aspirations; a range of permissions required | Status: Our advice and guidance allowed Made Public to push forward and realise the project within the time required with all the necessary permissions in place. Our design advice ensured that murals would be correctly adapted to their chosen sites and located to give maximum impact and aid way finding.
Client: London Borough of Havering/ Made Public | Budget: circa £10k | Stages: 3 | Challenges: Limited time; small budget and big aspirations; technical input into design needed | Status: Our design advice and guidance allowed Made Public to push forward and realise simple mobile platforms that worked with their budget and range of events planned, whilst ensuring that statutory requirements were taken into account.
